England Boxing Awards Finalists

We are thrilled to announce that for the second year in a row, we have been shortlisted for the @englandboxingofficial Community Club Impact Award. In additional to this, @shane_sanctus has been shortlisted for the Individual Member Impact Award.

For a club in our 4th year this is an incredible achievement. When Shane opened Sanctus in June 2021, we knew he would create something special based on his own experiences as an amateur boxer and his drive & sheer determination to use boxing to make a real difference in the community.

Here we are 4 years later building a good reputation with the boxers we produce, making Sanctus a club to be proud to be part of. In additional to this, we have delivered our SEMH boxing programmes in 19 schools across Calderdale and Bradford and at last count, 1013 young people had accessed these services. As a result, we are being approached by other service providers for the work we do, as people are recognising the positive impact boxing plays within the community.
